BRIEF PROFILE OF FOUNDER LEADER
Lt Col Prakash Joshi is a retired Indian Army officer with 24 years of service. Alumnus of Sainik School, Satara,National Defence Academy,he is a graduate of Defence Services Staff College and has been an Instructor in Infantry School. Into the second career by choice for over ten years now,he has three years of senior management level industry experience and another seven years of consulting experience as a free lancing consultant, mainly in areas of Personal Financial Planning and Investments.
MBA (Finance and HRD) from Institute of Rural Management, Anand, he also has post graduate diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan and in International Trade from Symbiosis, Pune,.and M.Sc. from Madras University. Quality and Systems oriented person in all aspects of life and work, he is associated with Ram Krishna Bajaj National Quality Award, instituted by Indian Merchants Chambers, for the last ten years, as an examiner.He has also been associated with Bhartiya Yuva Shakti Trust(BYST), an NGO promoting entrepreneurship among the underprivileged by giving them loans without any security and mentoring them with over 95% recovery rates. He is also interested in micro finance.
He is a close follower of the equity and gold markets and has travelled in India, Australia, Middle East, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, UK and USA. He is presently working on his Personal Financial Awareness Mission of which this web site is a part.
About Mrs. Kunda Joshi
Kunda, was a graduate in science and education before our marriage and now also has a post graduate diploma in School Psychology. She understood, appreciated and supported my long term plans. We could not have succeeded without her patronage. She even financially contributed by taking up teaching jobs whenever it was possible and managed children and the household almost single handed. I was unfortunate in being separated for long after marriage due to the demands of my service.
Kunda, had always wanted to study psychology and enjoyed work with the children of all ages After we achieved our Financial Freedom ,she rejoined a school for her post graduate diploma in School Psychology and completed it with distinction and topped the university. She is truly enjoying being a students counselor now and getting a lot of satisfaction too.
